The start of this Race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval between races. LADY TORERA was stubborn loading. Trainer Erasmus was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. WELCOME HOME and SPIDER FLOWER were restless in the stalls. Trainer Erasmus and Assistant Trainer Titise, respectively, were advised to re-school WELCOME HOME and SPIDER FLOWER prior to their next engagement. MAGICAL KINGDOM lost 1 length. OLIVIA DEE was bumped inwards shortly after the start by DALLEY, which was carried in by ANGEL OF LIGHT, which in turn was carried in by CRANBERRY CRUSH, which jumped in. Jockey Brown had his crop accidentally struck from his hand at approximately the 350m. Apprentice Murray reported that JAY RIVER choked up in running. ANGEL OF LIGHT raced green. SAMARRA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ANGEL OF LIGHT raced equipped with steel shoes. SHIRLEY-KAY pulled its left hind shoe in the saddling enclosure, the farrier was unable to replace the shoe timeously and therefore the right hind shoe was removed, resulting in this filly racing unshod behind. Vet: JAY RIVER - no respiratory noise detected post race. SPIDER FLOWER - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: PIPKIN - insufficient recovery time. BROAD OUTLINE - not striding out left hind.
