LADY THISTLE was slow into stride. Shortly after the start FIESTA DE ESPANA was bumped by LADY THISTLE, which jumped in. CASH IN CAMILLA was bumped at approximately the 900m, by FIESTA DE ESPANA, which shifted out marginally to avoid the heels of SUPA-U. Jockey Mariba was charged with a contravention in that he failed to inform the Stipendiary Board immediately he became aware that he was unable to fulfil his riding engagement of the horse CASH IN CAMILLA. Jockey Mariba signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. SAVE THE DAY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: JET TRIP - lame right front and coughing. LADY THISTLE - coughing. ICE GODDESS - not striding out right front. FIESTA DE ESPANA - speedy cut right hind. Scratched: SLICK DEPUTY - abnormal temperature. DANIELLE - no suitable rider available. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
