MOUNT KEITH (ZIM) was fractious and reared in the starting stalls, dislodged the rider, bolted, and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon, causing a delay. Trainer Kotzen will be advised that this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. REBEL FORCE reared, dislodged the rider and was immediately restrained. The Veterinary Surgeon declared the colt fit to race. Trainer Stewart will be advised that this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. SERGEANT HARDY jumped awkwardly inwards and made contact with LOS NINOS, which made contact with ON THE RIGHT PATH. The start of this race was rescheduled after MOUNT KEITH (ZIM) dislodged its rider and bolted. The other runners were taken out of the starting stalls to allow the betting public time to restructure their bets after MOUNT KEITH (ZIM) was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. Jockey Cheyne was injured in this incident and had to be transported by the Paramedics at the start to another waiting Ambulance, so that the Paramedics could then return to the start. The Club's Medical Officer sent Jockey Cheyne for x-rays and he was replaced on his rides. IN YOUR FACE was awkwardly placed shortly after the start on the heels of REBEL FORCE, which raced green and shifted inwards slightly. SERGEANT HARDY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: MOUNT KEITH - bolted the course and was withdrawn.
