UNBROKEN was slow into stride SPECTACULAR JET jumped inwards and made contact with UNBROKEN at the start. Jockey Fortune reported that FALLING SKY, and Jockey Danielson reported that ZINGARO were not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Gould reported that he felt something amiss with INQUISITION in the running. SPECTACULAR JET was hanging in throughout and was baulked for a clear run between the 400 and 300 metre marks. PEPE was hanging inwards over the final 200 metres and WHITE CHRISTMAS became cramped for galloping room between EVENING STORM and PEPE in the closing stages. IMPRESSIONIST and NETHERBY HALL brushed passing the 200 metre mark. Trainer Strydom called for a race review into this incident and after reviewing the patrol films, decided to take no further action. PEPE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ZE TZAR raced with a tongue tie. IMPRESSIONIST raced with a full set of alumites. Vet: FALLING SKY and INQUISITION - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. ZINGARO - short in front uneven behind. PEPE - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: WOW HOLIDAY - no jockey available at the carded weight. BERTLE TURTLE - retired. The Course Farrier on duty reported that the shoes of all the runners engaged at today's race meeting were checked and confirmed with the rules. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
