The start of the 4th Race was slightly delayed as a result of the horses arriving late to the start. CAUSEWAY BAY and LEGAL LEGACY both lost 1 length. ZAGORA lost 2 lengths. SANDY'S POINT threw her head up and lost 5 lengths. Trainer Lafferty advised to re-school this filly. DURBAN BLUES was restless in the stalls, was removed, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. DURBAN BLUES was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Jacobson reported that LEGAL LEGACY took no interest in running and as a result did not preserve with his ride in the latter stages. Jockey Randolph reported that SANDY'S POINT took no interest in running. Jockey Delpech reported that AVENTURINE was not striding out freely in running. ZAGORA was hanging out in the latter stages. Jockey Jordaan, the rider of ZAGORA, accidentally dropped his crop approaching the 200 metre mark. Jockey Jordaan signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a Warning for a contravention in that he rode ZAGORA in an unprofessional manner by dropping his crop at approximately the 200 metre mark. LIBERTY MARKET was hanging out in the straight. HATTON GARDEN was carried in slightly by L'ATTITUDE near the 300 metre mark and thereafter approaching the 150 metre mark. SU-PA-SUTA raced fitted with alumites. DIAMOND DROP raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: AVENTURINE and SANDY'S POINT - nothing obvious detected. LEGAL LEGACY - coughing. Scratched: SCARLET RIVERA - injured head in transit.
