SABAHA lost 1 length. IN OTHER WORDS jumped awkwardly and lost 2 lengths. OLMA and LALA were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with SABAHA in running. LERTASHA over-raced in the early and middle stages Jockey Delpech reported that ALICE SPRINGS was blowing excessively post-race. Jockey Marcus reported that IN OTHER WORDS was making an abnormal respiratory noise. Jockey Marcus, the rider of IN OTHER WORDS, accidentally dropped his crop near the 100 metre mark. CASHA shifted out away from the crop near the 150 metre mark, carrying FUTURE FANTASTIC outwards for a short distance. Thereafter FUTURE FANTASTIC became baulked near the 50 metre mark. Jockey Veale, the rider of CASHA, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take measures to prevent his mounts from shifting ground in races in future. Jockey Marcus signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a Warning for a contravention in that he rode IN OTHER WORDS in an unprofessional manner by dropping his crop at approximately the 100 metre mark. Vet: SABAHA - Epistaxis, 60 day suspension. ALICE SPRINGS - not striding out right fore. IN OTHER WORDS - nothing obvious detected.
