CAPTAIN'S FLAME reared in the stalls, was taken out of the stalls as the saddle had slipped back and had to be rectified. The Veterinary Surgeon examined the filly and declared her fit to race. Trainer Nel will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. MY EMBLEM and GREY LIGHT were slow losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride. The off times of Races 2, 3 and 4 were rescheduled at the request of Phumelela. ALIYSA'S PRIZE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CAPTAIN'S FLAME - returned with a cut in the right nostril. ELUSIVE STARS - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
