The start of this Race was delayed due to the withdrawal of QATAR SPRINGS at the start. PREMIUM WOOD flyjumped losing one length. JONOVICH and PREMIUM WOOD were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SILVER SPRING was hanging in throughout. KITTY'S DESTINY was switched out off the heels of EMPEROR NIARCHOS to obtain a clear run near the 400 metre mark brushing SILVER SPRING on a number of occasions. Thereafter over the final 300 metres, SILVER SPRING hanging in, shifted in brushing KITTY'S DESTINY on a number of occasions and carrying KITTY'S DESTINY inwards. As a result of this incident EMPEROR NIARCHOS was brushed by KITTY'S DESTINY on a number of occasions near the 200 metre mark and thereafter was eased off the heels of KITTY'S DESTINY near the 100 metre mark. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward with regard to the above incident. After considering the result of this Race and the above report, no further action was taken. PREMIUM WOOD was hanging in, in the latter stages. Jockey Kennedy reported that he felt something amiss with DANTE'S LEGACY in the latter stages. DANTE'S LEGACY raced with Club Colours. Vet: DANTE'S LEGACY - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: AUCTION KING - change of surface. QATAR SPRINGS - not striding out left fore, withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
