GIFTED FOR GLORY jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Fayd'Herbe, the rider of MASTER'S EYE, was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight. Jockey Fayd'Herbe signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. In view of the performance from THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) and GIFTED FOR GLORY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the horses on their return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. KRAMBAMBULI was tightened for galloping room in the concluding stages. OVIDIO (AUS) and MILTON were hanging out late. LIGHT THE LIGHTS and MILTON were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: THE CONGLOMERATE (AUS) - returned not striding out. GIFTED FOR GLORY - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
