FORTITUDE was brushed in the concluding stages on two occasions by MARIA THERESA, which was hanging in from the 300m. OFF THE MARK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: BRAVO MAYA - insufficient recovery time. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed. The start of Race 6 was delayed due to the close proximity of a severe electric storm. Due to this, persistent, close proximity of the electrical storm and the threat of further imminent electrical storms, the Racing Operator Representative, after consultation with the Stipendiary Board, abandoned Races 6,7,8,9. A DECISION WILL BE TAKEN INTO WHEN THE TWO FEATURES RACES, RACE 7 (LONDON NEWS STAKES) and RACE 8 (SEA COTTAGE STAKES) WILL BE RUN IN DUE COURSE.
