MAGIC ICE was reluctant to load and fractious in the stalls. Trainer Kotzen will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. WORLD BANK was stubborn loading and had to be hooded causing a delay. Trainer Crawford will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. Jockey Behr was charged with a contravention in that he rode the horse GO DIRECT in an unprofessional manner by dropping his crop at the 350m. Jockey Behr signed an Admission of Guilt for the penalty of a Warning. RIVER BLAZE became tightened for galloping room at about the 300m between MAGIC ICE and WORLD BANK. JEREMY shifted out in the concluding stages and brushed GO DIRECT. In view of the performances from MAGIC ICE and DUNE BASHER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings on their return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. GO DIRECT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Ownership of DUNE BASHER should read: Corryvrecken Racing c.c. & Mr W Smith; and the Colours are: Royal blue, gold band of diamonds, royal blue sleeves & cap. Vet: MAGIC ICE - returned with a mouth injury. DUNE BASHER - returned in mild post race distress. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
