DOUBLY ATTRACTIVE and VARGO were restless in the stalls. LADY TORERA was restless in the stalls. Trainer Erasmus was advised to re-school this filly. ANGEL OF LIGHT raced green and was hanging in, in the concluding stages. CAT'S WHISKERS shifted out slightly away from the crop in the concluding stages. Trainer Mrs Anthony called a race review into the concluding stages of the race which was followed by an Objection being lodged by Mrs Anthony on behalf of the 2nd placed horse, CAT'S WHISKERS, against the winner, ANGEL OF LIGHT, on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the concluding stages. The Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and reviewing the patrol films of the race, was of the opinion that CAT'S WHISKERS would not have finished ahead of ANGEL OF LIGHT and therefore overruled the Objection. The Judges result stands. Trainer Mrs Anthony's deposit was forfeited. ANGEL OF LIGHT and CAT'S WHISKERS were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: VARGO - mouth injury. ANGEL OF LIGHT - cut into right front. CAT'S WHISKERS - scalped right hind.
