FLYING THE FLAG (IRE) was bumped out at approximately the 350m by FRENCH NAVY, which shifted out away from the crop. Thereafter FRENCH NAVY shifted in carrying KILLUA CASTLE (AUS) inwards in the concluding stages. FRENCH NAVY and KILLUA CASTLE (AUS) were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MAC DE LAGO (AUS) raced equipped with alumite bar shoes in front and alumites behind. Vet: FLYING THE FLAG (IRE) - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: WHITELINE FEVER - not striding out right front. After the running of Race 5, Jockey Delpech was replaced on his mounts for the remaining races in which he was engaged, in order to fulfil his riding engagements at the Greyville racemeeting which was postponed to tonight.
