The start of this race was delayed due to the equipment on ROYAL DRIVE having to be adjusted. QUEENSVILLE stumbled shortly after the start. JOSETTI was slow into stride. BAY OF ROCHELLE was bumped out by LADY DUCHESS, which jumped out leaving the stalls. QUEENSVILLE commenced to give ground to the field into the straight and thereafter Jockey Wrogemann did not persevere with his riding form the 250m. Apprentice Patel was charged with a contravention in that he failed to ride the horse WHITE FEATHER out to the end of the race. Apprentice Patel signed an Admission of Guilt and a penalty of a Warning was imposed. SEATTLE SPICE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MAYA THE BEE raced equipped with alumites. Vet: MAYA THE BEE - speedy cut right hind. RAVING JEWEL - abnormal respiratory noise.
