REBEL'S GIRL pulled its right front shoe en route to the start, which was attended to by the Course Farrier. SEATTLE LADY was restless in the stalls and injured itself. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn and it was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable. CAPTAIN'S DIVA reared as the start was effected. The Stipendiary Board called a race review into the start of this race and established that CAPTAIN'S DIVA, in stall gate number 8, reared as the start was effected and was restrained by the handler allocated to it. The Board ruled that this filly had been restrained by the handler and was therefore declared a non-runner. Jockey Zechner reported that CATALUGA changed stride continuously in running. Apprentice Murray reported that LENA LAPTEV did not stride out freely in running. JO MALONE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: JO MALONE and REGAL ROSE - coughing. CATALUGA - examined post race, no significant findings. LENA LAPTEV - not striding out left front. Scratched: SEATTLE LADY - injured in pens and was withdrawn. CAPTAIN'S DIVA - declared a non-runner. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
