EMOTICON (O Noach) jumped slow, losing one length. BAYBERRY (G Cheyne) was awkwardly placed and had to ease when tightened between OVER THE ODDS (R Khathi) which was hanging out and rolled out slightly and KATAK (B Fayd'Herbe) which shifted in slightly at the 250m. CANE LIME 'N SODA (M Byleveld) was continually held up from the 350 to the 200m and shifted out away from the crop in the latter stages KATAK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
