Jockey Marwing did not ride at today's race meeting. He was replaced on his mounts. DEVIOUS XANDRE was restless in the pens. JUSTASH was slow into stride. THE WITNESS jumped awkwardly. LED ZEPPELIN was awkwardly placed shortly after the start between ARTFUL EMPEROR and BOULOGNE, which jumped inwards. LED ZEPPELIN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Thackeray, the rider of ASHANTEE, briefly dropped his left hand side rein in the concluding stages. TIME TO BE GREAT was hanging in from the 300m. In view of this report the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Simons reported that felt something amiss with SEA KNIGHT in running. Jockey Marwing reported that ARTFUL EMPEROR raced with its tongue over the bit. Jockey Fortune reported that THE WITNESS made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. DEVIOUS XANDRE raced in Club Colours with the Stewards permission. Vet: SEA KNIGHT - Epistaxis, third episode. This horse is suspended permanently from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority. BOULOGNE - abnormal respiratory noise. TIME TO BE GREAT - cut into left hind. DEVIOUS XANDRE - cut into left front. THE WITNESS - coughing.
