TIMEFORATIGER was difficult to load. CALIGARI CARNIVAL lost one length. PILGOVAN STAR lost two lengths. FOREST was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TIMEFORATIGER shifted in approaching the 1700 metre mark, carrying YURIES GOLD inwards, resulting in PRICELESS GEM having to be eased for a number of strides. An inquiry will be held into this incident. DUN CARRER (ARG) shifted in approaching the 1600 metre mark, carrying PILGOVAN STAR inwards, resulting in PRICELESS GEM becoming cramped along the inside running rail. An Inquiry will be held into this incident. Jockey Forbes reported that SUGARBUZZ was not striding out freely in running. In view of the performance of SAARIKH (ARG), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. RIO DE LA PLATA raced without cheek pieces. Vet: SUGARBUZZ - not striding out behind. SAARIKH (ARG) - not striding out right hind. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
