MULHER DE BRANCO reared, was fractious in the stalls and dislodged the rider, who immediately remounted. Trainer Bass will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. SKIP A BEAT was reluctant to load. Trainer Nel will be advised to have this this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. In view of the performance from MULHER DE BRANCO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. DEEP SECRET became cramped for galloping room at about the 400m and was forced to ease between TONYA and NIMA. Thereafter at about the 250m, DEEP SECRET eased and switched out to continue her run. DISNEY QUEEN pulled hard in the early stages and raced wide on the bend. SKIP A BEAT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey van Niekerk rode DISNEY QUEEN. This change was made in due time with Stewards permission and with the mutual consent of all the connections. Vet: MULHER DE BRANCO - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: GOODTIME GAL - overreach on the right fore. MEGAN JONES - elevated temperature. BEAUTIFUL BIRD - Azoturia. SUPERCILIOUS - Urticaria.
