Jockey Yeni medically indisposed did not ride at today's race meeting. He was replaced on his mounts. JUSTADREAM was slow into stride. WINDINMYHAIR was slow, losing 1 length. The Stipendiary Board called a race review into the start of this race and established that the back starting gate of stall gate number 8 was not securely fastened and when the gates were released FAIR COLOUR pushed backwards, which resulted in this filly not being in the starting stalls when the start was effected. FAIR COLOUR was declared a non-runner. Shortly after the start the hind quarters of SPIRIT OF LOVE was bumped sideways by VARIETY SPIRIT, which was brushed outwards by GOLDEN MEMORIES, which was carried out by JAYRISTA. JUSTADREAM was awkwardly placed in the concluding stages on the heels of VARIETY SPIRIT. CAT'S WHISKERS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Mariba signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he failed to inform the Stipendiary Board immediately he became aware that he was unable to fulfil his riding engagement/s. Scratched: FAIR COLOUR - declared a non-runner. Jockey Mariba was stood down following a breathalyser test. An inquiry will be opened to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident. He was replaced on his mounts.
