NO WORRIES and WAY OF LIGHT were both slow into stride. AUCTION KING lost 1 length. DIAMOND KING (NZ) lost 5 lengths. TEN GUN SALUTE (AUS) and SILVER SPRING were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MASTER JAMES over-raced in the early and middle stages. In view of the performance of MASTER JAMES, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Marcus reported that RUSHMORE RIVER was making an abnormal respiratory noise in running and as a result did not persevere with his ride in the latter stages. In view of the performances of SERISSA and AUCTION KING, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. In view of the Starter's report concerning DIAMOND KING (NZ), the starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable to jump on terms with a companion. LEVEN POINT retuned post race having cast the left hind shoe. LEVEN POINT raced fitted with his tongue tied down. Vet: RUSHMORE RIVER - abnormal respiratory noise and mild post race distress. AUCTION KING, SERISSA and MASTER JAMES - nothing obvious detected.
