CATWALK TEASE stumbled at the start. JAY RIVER was hanging out from the 300m LIVELY DEBATE had to ease approaching the 200m, off the heels of CAPRICIOUS, which shifted out. As a result of this incident, an objection was lodged by Trainer Stenger, the trainer of LIVELY DEBATE, placed fourth, against CAPRICIOUS being declared third on the grounds of interference. The Stipendiary Board, after viewing the patrol films of the race and having given regard to the evidence presented by the connections, was not reasonably satisfied that LIVELY DEBATE would have finished in front of CAPRICIOUS and therefore overruled the objection. The judge's result stands and Trainer Stenger's deposit was refunded. Workrider Ndlovu signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he, as the rider of CAPRICIOUS, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to LIVELY DEBATE when he shifted out at the 200m. He was suspended from riding in one workriders' race. Workrider Ndlovu, the rider of CAPRICIOUS, was dislodged from his mount in the pull-up area. CATWALK TEASE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PERFORMANCE raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: LA FEMME NIKITA - coughing.
