RAVISHING ROMANCE jumped outwards resulting in JUSTAJEWEL being squeezed out and thereafter was slow into stride. MODERNISTA jumped inwards as the start was effected. SILKEN and FLYING PEPPER were slow into stride. MODERNISTA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. AVAST raced wide throughout. SILKEN baulked for a short distance at approximately the 400 metre mark. In view of the performances of POCAHONTAS GIRL, FLYING PEPPER and JUSTAJEWEL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. Vet: POCAHONTAS GIRL and FLYING PEPPER - nothing obvious detected. JUSTAJEWEL - not striding out left fore. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
