BOOMTOWN BELTER jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In the view of the performance from BOOMTOWN BELTER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Apprentice van der Hoven reported that he felt something amiss with REBEL'S IDOL in running. Jockey Africa reported that SECRET NAME changed stride continually in running. SAILS SET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: REBEL'S IDOL and BOOMTOWN BELTER - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. SECRET NAME - returned with a cut on the left fore.
