ABOUT THE DASH and OXFORD UNION were nervous in the stalls. SPECTACULAR JET reared as the start was effected and dislodged Jockey Webber. GREATIST HITS was slow away and lost 1 length. The start of this race was delayed due to the withdrawal of I SEE THUNDER and REBEL'S RANSOM. A race review was called into the start and after reviewing the patrol films of the start, the Board was satisfied that SPECTACULAR JET was correctly installed and was a runner. The Board took no further action. In view of the Starter's report concerning SPECTACULAR JET, the starting stalls certificate is withdrawn and is to be recertified tractable prior to racing again. WOGSY was bumped and forced to ease from the rider-less horse passing the 900 metre mark. ORCADIAN FOREST became cramped for galloping room between the 400 and 300 metre marks from the rider-less horse. Jockey Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with FONTENOY in the running. OREO was hanging inwards approaching the 200 metre mark, shifted inwards carried INQUISITION in, who in turn carried WOW HOLIDAY inwards, which resulted MAMBO ITALIANO becoming cramped for galloping room on the inside running rail and was forced to check at the 200 metre mark. Apprentice Thabana, the rider of MAMBO ITALIANO, dropped his crop during this incident. A race review was called into this incident by Trainer Bremner and Trainer Paddock, the trainers of INQUISITION, placed 5th, and WOW HOLIDAY (ARG), placed 3rd, respectively and after reviewing the patrol films, no further action was taken. Apprentice Ramsamy's riding of OREO will be reviewed. OREO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: FONTENOY - not striding out. Scratched: SOCIETY ROCK - under Veterinary Surgeon treatment, right fore fetlock. I SEE THUNDER - overreach right fore, lame right fore and right hind, cast right front shoe and was withdrawn by the Course Veterinary Surgeon at the start. REBEL'S RANSOM - lame right front and was withdrawn by the Course Veterinary Surgeon at the start. The Course Farrier on duty reported that the shoes of all the runners engaged at today's race meeting were checked and confirmed with the rules. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
