MINI LOUSHE, which reared in the stalls, was slow losing one length. Trainer Nel will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. HUGO MONTENEGRO was slow into stride. SWEET SURRENDER was forced to check off the heels of ZUD WES, which shifted out in the latter stages. This incident will be reviewed by the Stipendiary Board. Jockey Fayd'Herbe was charged with a contravention, read with Guideline C on the use of the crop, in that he struck the horse ZUD WES more than three times on consecutive strides in the latter stages. Jockey Fayd'Herbe signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. SUNSET BREEZE and ZUD WES were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. AROGANT raced fitted with pacifiers. Vet: HUGO MONTENEGRO - returned with a cut on the left hind fetlock.
