IN THE JUNGLE jumped awkwardly losing one length. The start time was rescheduled due to the delay in the 6th race. Jockey Behr reported that KEMOSABE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. MR LOVER BOY was held up for a clear run at about the 150m. WARREN PLACE became tightened for galloping room approaching the 100m between SUB ZERO and SAINT ROCH. SHERLOCK was hanging in, in the latter stages. BENJAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: KEMOSABE - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: MIGHTY HASH - overreach on the left fore fetlock. YEOMAN - abnormal blood count. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
