Jockey Khumalo (medically indisposed) and Jockey van Rensburg (medically indisposed) did not ride at today's race meeting. They were replaced on their mounts. The start of this Race was delayed due to the late arrival of the bus transporting Jockeys, Trainers and Officials to Kimberley. AFGAS reared in the pens. HORSE KING was slow into stride. ROGUE RUNNER cast its right front shoe in running. Jockey Fortune reported that ROGUE RUNNER pulled the bit and was difficult to assist in the early stages. He appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and reminded of his obligation to keep his mounts on a straight course parallel to the running rail and relative to the draw position until a point not less than 200 metres from the start. RASBERRY LIPS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: LIEBIE'S BOY - coughing.
