MISS TWEEDY was slow into stride. Apprentice Bantam was charged with a contravention in that he failed to ride the horse HIT THE BIG TIME out to the end of the race. Apprentice Bantam signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. When assessing this penalty, the Stipendiary Board took into account that Apprentice Bantam had not prejudiced his chances of finishing in fourth place, however, was in contravention for not riding his HORSE out to the end of the Race. Apprentice Murray was charged with a contravention in that he used his crop in an unnecessary manner, which resulted in wheals on the right hind quarter of the horse CAROLE BOUQUET. Apprentice Murray signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. In view of the performance of MODJADJI, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. CAROLE BOUQUET was hanging in from the 200m. MISS TWEEDY and PAREE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MODJADJI - not striding out right front. CAROLE BOUQUET - wheals right hind quarter from crop and speedy cut right hind. Scratched: ALLEGORICAL - injured in the stalls.
