The start of this Race was delayed due to the farrier having to replace the left hind shoe on LA VIDA BANCO at the start. PEACH DELIGHT and VOGUE IDEA were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. JAMMING was pulling hard in the early stages, difficult to restrain, shifted in near the 1300 metre mark resulting in VELVET WIND becoming cramped and having to be eased for a number of strides. LONDON OLYMPICS over-raced in the early and middle stages. Jockey Yeni signed an Admission of Guilt for a Warning for a contravention in that, as the rider of CRACKPOT, he rode this filly in an unprofessional manner by accidentally dropping his crop near the 150 metre mark. CRACKPOT was hanging in, in the latter stages. LA VIDA BANCO raced with steel shoes and not alumites as carded. Vet: JAMMING - Epistaxis, 60 days suspension. Scratched: BLUE BEACH - bruised right fore sole.
