SUGAR FROSTED, which was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start and declared fit to race, jumped awkwardly outwards losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. PEONIE ROCK jumped awkwardly losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. STEEL PAN BAND was awkwardly placed on the heels of PEONIE ROCK, which was hanging out and shifted out at the 200m. In view of the performance from JINGLE BELLE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that SUGAR FROSTED did not stride out freely in running. SECRET PLAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SUGAR FROSTED - examined at the start and was declared fit to race. JINGLE BELLE - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. SUGAR FROSTED - returned not striding out post race. Scratched: ROCK JO EMMA - coughing.
