SHEPHERDS PURSE was slow into stride. In view of the performance from RED REX, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. KWASSA KWASSA was tightened for galloping room on the inside of KILRAIN at about the 1000m. The saddle on BELCOURT CASTLE slipped back in running at about the 600m. KILRAIN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. KILRAIN raced fitted with a tongue tie. Vet: RED REX - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
