Jockey Simons did not ride at today's race meeting. He was replaced on his mounts. The start of this Race was delayed when XPAT bolted during the canter past and subsequently being scratched. DAME GITANO flyjumped and lost 1 length. DOLPHINSPLAYGROUND stumbled badly shortly after the start. MISS WHITEFIRE shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. XPAT bolted during the canter past and was subsequently scratched for delaying the start. Trainer Peter was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. Jockey Maujean, the rider of BURGUNDY ROSE, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the end of the race. The Board, in this instance, took into account that Jockey Maujean was riding an inexperienced two-year-old filly, which had raced handy throughout and had tired badly in the concluding stages. ARISSA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Ngcobo rode his 20th winner. He will continue to claim his 4kg allowance for the duration of this race meeting; however, from 28 February 2016 he will only claim a 2.5kg allowance. Vet: ACCLAMATION - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: EKTIFAA (AUS) - insufficient recovery time. XPAT - delayed the start.
