STREETWEAR was restless in the stalls. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn and was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable. RED ROOM lost 1 length and was squeezed out shortly after the start. DUZI MOON cast its right front shoe in running. Jockey Chambers signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he failed to ride the horse SAN SALVADOR out to the end of the race. When assessing the penalty the Board were of the opinion that Jockey Chambers had not prejudiced his chances of obtaining fourth place, but was in contravention of Rule 62.2.3. DIVAR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Ferraris was questioned regarding the improved performance of DIVAR. He explained to the Board that in this colt's run on 9 February 2016 he had failed to overcome a wide draw and had raced wide throughout. The Board have adjourned to review DIVAR's run on 9 February 2016. STREETWEAR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Wiid was questioned regarding the improved performance of STREETWEAR. He explained to the Board that the addition of a brow band and the change in tactics to have this horse race handier in today's race had accounted for the improvement. This explanation was noted. Vet: CHOSEN AL - cut into left hind. NAVAL EXERCISE - abnormal respiratory noise. JOHNNIE FOR POPS - scalped left hind.
