FIESTY FIESTA was nervous in the stalls. MINNAKUTA flyjumped, was slow away and lost 1 length. MONTE CARLO PLAYER was slow away and lost 1 length. Jockey Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with MINNAKUTA in the running and did not persevere with his ride over the final 100 metres. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Stable Employee du Plessis was requested to monitor this filly over the next 48 hours and report back anything untoward to the Stipendiary Board. Jockey Khumalo reported that REBEL ANGEL was changing stride in the running. Jockey Naidoo, the rider of PRAIRIE ROSE, dropped his crop passing the 300 metre mark. MIDNIGHT BREEZE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROCK SHANDY raced with alumites in front unshod behind. Vet: MINNAKUTA and REBEL ANGEL - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. VINTAGE WINE - not striding out, speedy cut right fore outer cannon bone.
