FIXED 'N FIRM (C F Dicken) THE ART MASTER (C Murray) were slow losing 1 length. SMUTS (D Schwarz) was stubborn loading. QUNETRA (C Storey) hung out from the 400m. At approximately the 300m KWITE A TRIP (L J Ferraris) which shifted in marginally away from the crop had to ease when awkwardly placed between PHINDA MZALA (J R Syster) which rolled in and VARS VICKY (D De Gouveia) which hung out. Thereafter KWITE A TRIP and PHINDA MZALA came together and bumped which resulted in the hindquarter of PHINDA MZALA (J R Syster) being turned out and this gelding becoming unbalanced. After viewing the patrol film, the Board was satisfied that no blame could be apportioned to any individual rider and deemed this to be a racing incident. VARS VICKY (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer M N Titise, acting on behalf of Trainer S T Pettigrew, advised (AH). PHINDA MZALA (*J R Syster), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Binda advised (MdP). PHINDA MZALA raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 28 July 2020 at 13H06). ZAMPANO raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 2 August 2020 at 06H14). ZAMPANO raced with club colours (blue and black cap) with the Stipendiary Stewards permission. SCRATCHED: ALL THE KINGS MEN lame near fore (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies).
