VAL ET EL spread its left front shoe en-route to the start and had to be attended to by the Course Farrier, which caused a delay to the start of this race. LIEGE was slow into stride. LUNAR APPROACH lost one length. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that TRADING PROFIT did not stride out freely in running. TRADING PROFIT cast its left front shoe in running. Jockey Khumalo reported that LIEGE changed stride continually in running. Jockey Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with VAL ET AL and did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. ABASHIRI, BRAZUCA (AUS) and SAMURAI BLADE (AUS) were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MALAK EL MOOLOOK raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: TRADING PROFIT - not striding out right front. LIEGE - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. VAL ET AL - Epistaxis, 60 day suspension.
