The start of this Race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval. MISS DECEMBER was stubborn loading. Jockey Danielson reported that MISS DECEMBER did not stride out freely in running. HOLLIE POINT was continually carried out in the concluding stages by OLD EM, which shifted out away from the crop and resulted in HOLLIE POINT being bumped outwards. A member of the Stipendiary Board called a race review into this incident, which was followed by him lodging an objection on behalf of the second placed horse, HOLLIE POINT, against the first placed horse, OLD EM, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the respective parties, was of the opinion that the result had been affected by this incident and that HOLLIE POINT would have finished in front of OLD EM and therefore upheld the objection and amended the judges' result. OLD EM and HOLLIE POINT were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. HOLLIE POINT raced equipped with alumites. Vet: MISS DECEMBER - examined post race, no significant findings. Scratched: REBEL'S GIRL - abscess left front.
