The start of this Race was delayed due to the 28-minute interval and the tongue tie on LAVENDER LANDSCAPE having to be refitted by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. MUTAKAYYEF (NZ) was squeezed out shortly after the start. EXCALIVAR lost 1 length. ANTONIUS CHARM cast its right front shoe in running. LAVENDER LANDSCAPE over-raced in the early stages. Apprentice Patel signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention, read with Guideline G on the use of the crop, in that he struck the horse CAMPS DRIFT unnecessarily when it was out of contention for a place. PROFIT RATIO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SUMMIT raced equipped with a Cornell collar. Vet: PROFIT RATIO - mouth injury. NEO JET - coughing. Scratched: SON OF APPROVAL - colic. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
