VOLTERRA jumped awkwardly losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. NORDIC BREEZE, which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Snaith will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before its next engagement. KWANDO jumped awkwardly inwards losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from SHARP PEG, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. KWANDO was carried out by SHARP PEG, which was hanging out between the 300m and 200m. TRIPPVILIA and NORDIC BREEZE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. VOLTERRA raced fitted with steel shoes in front and unshod behind. Vet: SHARP PEG - returned not striding out on both forelegs. STATE BALLET - returned coughing.
