PARISIAN GOLD (*L Tarentaal) jumped inwards and squeezed out MIRACULOUSLY OURS (B Fayd'Herbe). PARISIAN GOLD (*L Tarentaal) pulled hard in the early stages. Approaching the 100m, MIRACULOUSLY OURS (B Fayd'Herbe) was carried out by DESTIN (G van Niekerk) which shifted outwards. Simultaneously CELTILLUS (C Orffer) was forced to shift in off the heels of a tiring MELIORA (*J Solomons), which under pressure had rolled out approaching the 50m. This resulted in CELTILLUS (C Orffer) and MIRACULOUSLY OURS (B Fayd'Herbe) making contact, with both horses becoming unbalanced, with MIRACULOUSLY OURS (B Fayd'Herbe) being forced to check off the heels of DESTIN at the 50m. A member of the Stipendiary Board called for a race review. After viewing the video evidence, no further action was taken with regards to the result but the Board have adjourned to review the incident in more detail. WINTER SHADOW (G Cheyne) was hanging in in the latter stages. DESTIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith was advised.
