Mr Patel is no longer an apprentice. STORYFIELDS lost 1 length. BROAD OUTLINE stood and lost 4 lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn and it was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable. AT SUNSET was carried out in the concluding stages by KASHMIRA, which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. Apprentice Hewitson signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he failed to ride the horse AT SUNSET out to the end of the race. In assessing the penalty the Board was of the opinion that Apprentice Hewitson had not prejudiced his chance of obtaining fourth place, however, he was in contravention of Rule 62.2.3. Jockey Maujean signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention in that he failed to ride the horse PRINCESS AURORA out to the end of the race. The Board, when assessing this penalty, was of the opinion that Jockey Maujean had prejudiced his chance of obtaining fifth place. KAHLUA ROSE and WISHING CHESTNUT were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BROAD OUTLINE - speedy cut left hind. LA MANZA - speedy cut right front.
