TRIPLE BEAT, IMPACT ZONE, DHAAMER and SCUZAMI were slow into stride. GO DIRECT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. EIGHT STORIES (AUS) refused to gallop. This gelding is suspended indefinitely and until he jumps and races on terms with a companion to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Board on a race day. Jockey Marcus reported that he felt something amiss with WINTER'S HEIR and as result eased his mount out of the race at the 150 metre mark. Jockey Forbes reported ISOSHA was changing legs continuously in running. Jockey Storey reported FRENCH MARK took no interest in running. NOTTINGHAM FOREST over-raced in the early stages. NOTTINGHAM FOREST raced with cheek pieces. Vet: WINTER'S HEIR - broke down right fore. Rapture of the distal sesamoid ligaments with bilateral avulsion fractures of the proximal sesamoid bones. Euthanized on humane grounds. ISOSHA - nothing obvious detected. FRENCH MARK - not striding out right fore. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting, except for SCUZAMI who was identified with a microchip number. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
