THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO SAVANNAH STORM BEING STUBBORN TO LOAD AND COURT JESTER REFUSING TO LOAD. SAVANNAH STORM (S Brown) was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer P P Vermeulen was advised (PvdW). COURT JESTER (D L Habib) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainers M/ A Azzie were advised (PvdW). STILL WATERS (R Simons) and THEWAYOFTHEWARRIOR (N Qaule) were slow losing one length. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SAVANNAH STORM, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 07.08.20 to the 13.08.20. SAVANNAH STORM may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer P P Vermeulen was advised. In view of the Starter's report with regard to COURT JESTER this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with ACCOMPLISHED in running and he did not persevere with his ride from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. MILITARY QUEST (D De Gouveia) was green in running. NAFOORAH (*L J Ferraris), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
