HEJIRA was restless in the stalls, removed from the stalls, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and re-loaded. ONE O WON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that he felt something amiss with STARRETT CITY in running. Jockey Forbes reported that ALBUQUERQUE was not striding out freely in running. ONE O WON was forced to switch in at approximately the 400 metre mark, off the heels of a tiring RUSTLER, resulting in ONE O WON brushing STREET BOY and STREET BOY being carried inwards and becoming unbalanced and cramped on the heels of BREAKFAST CLUB, who had shifted out slightly. Jockey Delpech, the rider of ONE O WON, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take more care in future when shifting ground in races. SWEET REFRAIN raced green. ALBUAQUERQUE raced fitted with alumite bar shoes both fore and unshod behind. RUSTLER raced unshod. HEJIRA raced with his tongue tied down. SWEET REFRAIN raced fitted with steels. Vet: ALBUQUERQUE - not striding out right hind. STARRETT CITY - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: STRAW MAN - elevated temperature.
