FASHION DANCER and AT LONG LAST both lost 1 length. MY MISHPOCHA was slow into stride. MAMBO, placed second on an Objection, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Lerena reported that NIGHT BREEZE was not striding out freely in running. MAMBO, hanging out, shifted out approaching the 250 metre mark, resulting in FASHION DANCER being carried outwards slightly. Thereafter MAMBO shifted out abruptly carrying FASHION DANCER outwards further. Thereafter MAMBO continued to shift out forcing FASHION DANCER to race tightly on the outside rail over the final 75 metres. An Objection was lodged by a member of the Stipendiary Board on behalf of the second placed horse, FASHION DANCER, against the winner, MAMBO, on the grounds of interference over the final 250 metres. The Objection Board after viewing the patrol videos from the various angles, hearing all the evidence was of the opinion that but for the interference FASHION DANCER would have beaten MAMBO and therefore upheld the Objection and amended the Judge's result. Vet: NIGHT BREEZE - nothing obvious detected. TURQUOISE WATER (AUS) - coughing.
