SAIL FOR GOLD, which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly inwards and made contact with ZUBBADUBBADOO. Trainer Bass will be advised to have SAIL FOR GOLD re-schooled before its next engagement. ZE KAISER was slow into stride. KINGVOLDT was restless in the stalls. Trainer Snaith will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement. Jockey Behr reported that BLACKMORE did not stride out freely in running and as a result did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. ZUBBADUBBADOO over-raced in the early stages, was hanging out and raced wide on the bend, and tired in the latter stages. In view of the performance from ZUBBADUBBADOO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. STAR CHESTNUT was switched in off the heels of BLARNEY BAY to continue its run at about the 150m. FRIENDLY TIBBS was accidentally struck on the head at about the 200m. MIDNITE ZONE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ZUBBADUBBADOO - returned not striding out. BLACKMORE - returned not striding out and blowing. Scratched: CATKIN - injured in transit, lame right fore.
