VISCOUNTESS VIVIEN (*K Matsunyane) was slow into stride. LORALEI (J Penny) was unruly and reared in the stalls and was subsequently scratched by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, advised (PHvdW). In view of the Starter's report with regard to LORALEI, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 09.08.20 to the 15.08.20. LORALEI may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, advised. At approximately the 150m SOUL OF WIT (P Strydom) had to steady momentarily when crowded for galloping room between SWEPT OFF MY FEET(D L Habib) which rolled in marginally and MALTEZA (S Khumalo). As a consequence of this SOUL OF WIT (P Strydom) had to switch in to continue its run. ENCRYPTION(*C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
