Jockey Khathi, the rider of LEGO HOUSE, and Jockey Mxothwa, the rider of OLIMPIC AIRWAYS, reported that their mounts were not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Munger reported EMMA'S JOY was changing stride in the running and he did not persevere with his ride over the final 300 metres. MR HANSEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Sham was questioned regarding the improved performance of this colt compared to his race on the 29th April 2016. She stated that this colt performs better on the poly track and removed the blinkers today which she believed may have resulted in the improved performance. The Board noted this explanation. HEIR TO RICHES was sold with engagement, the Ownership should read: D J McLachlan; and the Colours are: black, light blue diagonal stripes, light blue sleeves, black cap. Vet: LEGO HOUSE, EMMA'S JOY and SEATTLE REIGN - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. OLIMPIC AIRWAYS - lame left hind. BIRD OF WAR - coughed post race.
