DESTINED FOR DAWN was restless in the stalls. TRINITY HALL was slow into stride. SECRET SUCCESS, DARTING ARROW and KAYKAYNOKNIDS lost one length. ROY'S SAILOR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. INDIAN BAY was hanging out throughout and raced wide on the latter part of the bend. BUBKA became cramped and was eased on the outside of DARTING ARROW near the 350 metre mark. Jockey Zackey reported CALAPAN raced with his tongue over the bit and that this gelding was not striding out freely post race. Apprentice Hewitson reported TERRA INCOGNITA was not striding out freely in the latter stages and as a result he did not persevere with his ride. TRINITY HALL was switched in off the heels of DESTINED FOR DAWN near the 100 metre mark. SECRET SUCCESS and DARTING ARROW raced with cheek pieces. TERRA INCOGNITA raced without a tongue tie. The ownership of SECRET SUCCESS should read: Dr R H Katzwinkel & Mrs K Anthony; and the Colours are: white, royal blue cross, gold sleeves, hooped cap. Vet: CALAPAN - not striding out left fore. TERRA INCOGNITA - nothing obvious detected.
